But shame on Oiyagai. All 5 of the units came in their own package. Unfortunately, all of the individual packages had already been opened. All 5 of the packages had been hand marked with an X. All 5 of the modules had either an X or a "-" written on the sticker covering the speaker. None of the parts worked properly. I was sent REJECTS! Very happy with Amazon, not so much with Oiyagai. Maybe it was just the work of a disgruntled emplyee and not a real reflection of the company. Let's hope so. But I can't give a better rating at this point. Unacceptable service.I received the replacement units yesterday. Unfortunately, the same story. Opened and marked packages. Only two of the 5 units worked. HOWEVER, these units are listed as passive buzzers. They are not. The instructions listed are not for this device, not even close. For the two units that worked, if I put +5V on the VCC pin and ground the GND pin, and let the I/O pin float (no connection) no sound comes out. If I ground the I/O pin, it emits a high pitched tone. If I put +5V on the I/O pin, no sound comes out. One would have expected, in the absence of a description, that a +5V input would activate the sound instead of ground. Again, I was sent rejects. So either I got the same disgruntled employee or this seller is suspect.Update 1-20-23. I am not changing my rating because of all of the misrepresentations and poor quality control. However, further investigation has revealed that there are both active (grounded input = on) and passive versions of this product and that they are visually indistinguishable. So while I reported that some of these units did not work, it may well be that I was using an active testing procedure on a passive device and vice versa. There is still no excuse for not delivering what is described. In retrospect, I think they are opening the packages to determine passive vs active but then fail to do anything useful with that knowledge. Since I returned my units I can't verify this but my buddy had a number of these same devices and we were able to confirm this situation with his collection of buzzers. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Beeper, not buzzer. *by Z***H on Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2020* 3 stars because it works.
