Review: Lovely glow - I use as night lights in my bathroom. I put it in an open jar as it does not get hot. I put the pale blue coloured gift paper around the jar to 'calm' the light and give a warm ambiance to the room. I am only using 1 of the 10 lights and I have enough light for a bathroom. Love them. I switch on when I go to bed and when I wake in the morning. Not sure how long they will last yet but it is well worth it for the price of the lights. Update: The batteries lasted only 2 weeks and there were a couple of days that that I did not put the lights on. When I used them, I usually switched them on close to midnight or even later when I went to bed. My experience is that the batteries did not last as long as what was stated in other reviews. That does not change the effectiveness of the lights though but it does alter the cost of using them over a long term. Slightly disappointed but I still think they are awesome lights. I ran a string under the cupboards over my kitchen sink because I am renting and outlets are limited. Gives off enough light to wash dishes or make a cup of tea They are quite handy that's why they still deserve 5 stars.

A: I know there are color options, not sure about patterns

**Q: Can one remote control 3 separate 20ft lights.if i purchase 3 instead of using 3 remotes?**
A: I have two sets and I am able to use one remote control for both of them.

**Q: Can the timer be turned OFF to keep it on all night?**
A: The timer is optional. You don't have to use it.  The remote has on, off, color, motor and flash speed and timer from 1 to 6 hrs. I have it shining on my garage door.  Really festive. You can turn it on and off from inside your home.

**Q: Are these bright enough to use for miniature houses in a Christmas village?**
A: I am sorry it’s taken me so long to answer. Yes they would be bright enough for your village. These are the best fairy lights I’ve ever worked with. I use them in wreaths and my snowman and pictures. Hope this helps! Merry Christmas!

The item looks like the picture .. but it does not display like the pictures shown . I do not recommend cause of the following: • They do not have the snowflake patterns pictured . • They swirl(in a diamond shape), they do not have that falling snow effect . • They do not cover much . It just stays in one diamond space . • They do come packaged well .
