The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, which means the valve opens when voltage is applied.The valve is suitable for pressures of 0 - 100 bar (0 - 1450 psi) and a maximum temperature of 130° C (266° F). The valve has a Kv-value of 0.03 m3/h, which translates to a flow rate of 0.5 l/min at a differential pressure of 1 bar (for water). In imperial units: Cv = 0.03, which means 0.03 GPM @ 1 psi pressure drop. For simple applications it is often enough to select a valve based on the thread size and orifice diameter.
