Review: Far better than one would expect from a "mix" - I've been using Knorr Ultimate products for a couple years now and they do not disappoint. If you mix this exactly per the instructions it comes out too thick. Best to start with the recommended amount of water and then add more as it thickens to get what you want. I like mine with more lemon, so I add extra lemon juice while I get it to the right thickness. Do NOT let it go unstirred too long. It will burn on the bottom and taste bad if you do not follow the instructions, and stir VERY frequently. I'm happy with it.

A: This one is gluten free.  Most of the packages of Hollandaise sauce are not (have a child with celiac disease).

**Q: what is the shelf life for this? And is it a “use by date” or  “best by date**
A: I have ordered this product in Qty 4, and both times it arrived with an expiration date of 12-18 months.  The hollandaise sauce is the best I have ever had better than scratch restaurant made. I have put it on eggs benedict, mixed it with fettucine noodles and chicken, even used it as based for creamed spinache, peas, califlower and broccoli.  Highly recommended!
