The Weston 9 inch meat slicer features adjustable Thickness settings from deli thin (for shaved cold cuts) to over ½ inch thick (for steaks and chops). the 9" (8 5/8)" Stainless Steel blade is easily removable for cleaning. Suction cup feet for stability. Belt-driven motor. Powerful 150 watt motor (120 Volts, 60 Hz). heavy duty anodized aluminum construction. Tilt-out tray for cleaning. Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 15 minutes. Be sure to allow the appliance to cool down for 30-60 minutes Before operating again.

Review: Great slicer - Easy to clean - not too heavy - This is our first slicer, so didn't know much going in. My husband wanted something heavy / commercial grade. I wanted easy to clean, not too large, and light enough to be able to move from the counter to storage shelf. This is not commercial, but works perfectly for us. Easy to use right from the beginning - in fact, I use it more than my husband does. Safety features are good - I did get a couple pair of safety gloves, which I put on every time I'm going to slice or to clean the blade. We have sliced both ham and turkey - slices can be paper thin, or any thickness up to approximately 1/2 inch. I've also sliced Swiss cheese, and bakery rye bread. All perfectly sliced. Now we don't have to buy pre-sliced products, and feel that we're getting better quality food for less money. The rubber feet keep the slicer firmly in place on the counter. It is lightweight enough that I can put it away and take it out easily. Although, so far, we've used it so often that we have not yet put it away. Cleanup is easier than I anticipated. The blade is easy to remove (while wearing safety gloves). To clean the machine, it's easy to wipe down, and I use a small brush to get into the crevices. To clean the blade at the sink, I wear a rubber oven glove, and use a scrubber brush to clean the blade under running water. So, I would recommend this slicer if you want one that is handy for slicing a variety of foods, not too large for kitchen use, and easy to clean with good safety features.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent for home use, a little dodgy on the claims

A sturdy home appliance, which is what I wanted. Good price point. The literature accompanying the slicer is next to worthless, as usual, but it says that the blade is not serrated, which is untrue. The blade is serrated, but it works fine for meat. I bought the slicer because I cure my own bacon and back bacon and find manual slicing to be inferior, given the quality of the meat I'm curing. My only complaints (docking it one star) are 1) that the slicer is not convertible for left-hand use (I chose the model because Rufus said it was, so don't trust a bot); and 2) that the ease of cleaning remarked on by others doesn't match my experience. I don't really mind cleaning my kitchen equipment, but I know ease of cleaning and this isn't it. The blade does detach and reattach easily, though, and the other parts are fairly accessible.
