Now the new wheels have a larger diameter then the original one, but this is not an issue, for you need only to lower the chair Height. The new wheels roll smoothly, and are very stable. The wheels are made of a soft rubber-like Material, and though at this time I am using a floor mat upon the wooden floors, I will be removing the mat for I believe the new wheels will not harm wood.
