I bought it for painting my round wooden fence posts and boards and i am hoping that I won't have to paint them again for years and years. It is brown in the bucket but dries to a nice deep black. It looks amazing. Just a side note, it is a little bit tacky even when it is totally dry. You can't stack the boards on top of one another without them sticking together where the pressure points are. The tackiness does not go away. I think that is what makes it so waterproof. But once the posts are in and the boards are screwed on the effect is great. I ordered a second bucket to do my other fencing that is already wearing off after 2 years. Hopefully it will work over the top of the old paint.
