Review: This is the one! - Edit again. Just ordered a 3rd time. I read a review on one of their other products that said that product was ok - but the original disinfectant was better. I still bought that product. With this new purchase though- now, I get it. I agree with that review, wherever it was, this one is a tough one to beat. I can see how some like the smell and others think it’s cloying. Personally, I don’t think it’s bad. It’s also not my favorite either. Other scents are available. But I’m impatient, and the scent is refreshing and clean smelling enough for me. And maybe this one is the best smelling out of them all, which was an opinion I did read in another review.. However, if they came out with this in a scent, something more along the lines of Mrs Myers basil or lemon verbena or more closer to the likeness of their scents, I might be more inclined to try that out. This, as it currently is though, is as close to perfect as I have been looking for, and I do like the scent.. As perfect as it is.. There are a few things about it that I wish I had known. Only so I had a better idea of how quickly I was going to go through it. Especially when most reviews stated a little goes a long way. Well it does. But it depends largely on how and what you use it primarily for. For urine or biological messes on fabrics being laundered- I pre treated with a spray bottle using a 50/50% solution, diluting the cleaner in equal parts with water. Then when I put the fabric in the washer, I used 8oz non diluted cleaner poured directly into where the fabric softener goes, instead of using fabric softener. But I did still add fabric softener. I’m going to try it with out it next time I use it for the wash. Or you can add it to the final rinse yourself if you remember to do that sort of thing. This is very effective on both stains and odors in the wash - And I really thought I was going to need to rewash a small load that I was sure I didn’t get to in time and figured it would take at least 1 more wash if it did work, and debated on if it did require a second wash- it’s possible that nothing can be done and was prepared to throw it away. Instead. I was amazed that it was ready to simply throw in the drier. No trace or even a hint of any bad smells. And most stains. Even old ones were gone. Although I did use a healthy amount of oxyclean powder, and detergent, mostly dissolved in hot water first and then poured into the clothes/wash directly in my top loader washer. (Personal preference of mine to do it that way. (What works for me, might not for you), even though the directions instruct to add before you add your clothes.) *** So adding a disclaimer- Dont do what I describe. I’m not giving you directions on what to do and I’m not giving any advice on how to use the product. *** Please follow the directions on whatever products you use. *** If you do try anything I describe that is different than how the products manufacturer instructs how to use the product, or maybe even advises specifically against what I’ve described to do, and you still do it, please realize: *** It’s at your own risk. But if I follow the recommended dilution - it seems weak, and I can’t smell it. I feel like I have to be able to smell it, for it to be effective. Which I realize is not the most logical thought. I accidentally bought the regular 3n1 carpet again. I meant to buy the pro grade 3n1carpet. I still plan on trying other products when the budget allows. I think testing these types of cleaners has now become a habit. But we’ll just call it a hobby. That sounds better.

**Q: will this eliminate cigerette oder?**
A: Yes, it will, but it depends on how it's used. That odor is sticky and penetrates porous surfaces, so you might have to wash them first and then use it. I have used on some nylon gear where I had to soak the surface TWICE but it did finally break down the odor. Better to use it full strength if possible, and let it air-dry on the surface. You can use it mixed 30:1 as an air freshener but remember that cigarette smoke leaves a film on things, and that's what stinks so ultimately that has to be removed or neutralized.

**Q: I may have missed this, but how well does this work for dog urine in carpet? Especially in comparison to leading product Natures Miracle?**
A: I bought this stuff today. My dog has been peeing on my carpet for months. We’re working on it. But she has one spot specifically she pees on. I sprayed my entire carpet, let it sit for about 30 minutes, blotted and let it dry fully. Not only does my carpet feel softer, but the smell is 90% gone. There’s a few spots that still stink, and I just put more on. But holy cow this stuff is amazing! I’ve used regular enzyme cleaners, and everything walmart sells to get rid of the smell. But one dose of odoban killed it instantly!

**Q: Why do the product photos enlarge when you click them, but "precautionary text" remains tiny and very difficult to read??**
A: Use only in a well-ventilated area. Wear face masks. Where latex gloves. Wear sunglasses or goggles. Do not mix this with another chemical. Safety First this is a chemical.

**Q: Why is the shipping so high? Where is it coming from Mars?! The shipping is more than the product.**
A: A gallon weighs about 8.5 pounds.  You are asking for a heavy item to be shipped.

Edit again. Just ordered a 3rd time. I read a review on one of their other products that said that product was ok - but the original disinfectant was better. I still bought that product. With this new purchase though- now, I get it. I agree with that review, wherever it was, this one is a tough one to beat. I can see how some like the smell and others think it’s cloying. This stuff is amazing. I got it to deal with a mildew-ee smell issue with my clothes, which it worked perfectly on. Reading reviews, I started trying it on some other things... Washing my faucet: no-streak shine of Widex with no residue. Stain on the carpet: sprayed a bunch on it, something finally actually worked. Cleaning the bathroom floor: a bit of this poured on the floor before Swiffering, the floor smelled totally neutral for the first time I can remember after getting close to sniff (don't judge). Sprayed a bunch haphazardly into the basement, never smelled less musty, after 1 go. Tried a bunch of other things before. Fairly sure another go or 2 has thar problem solved. At this point, it seems like some miracle substance that does exactly what I hope it will do, every time I try it. Fairly sure I'm going to have a bottle of this concentrate on-hand for the rest of my life. Very high-quality cleaner, at a value-to-cost ratio that no other has reached in-memory. Practically every person with a home should have it on-hand, unless they change the formula or drastically increase the price.
