They may be soft, but it'll still tear long fins. Some of the fake plants are delicate, not too much. I don't really get why people are saying this is soft plastic though, feels like the ordinary plastic plants to me. But they look pretty in my cory tank. Valuable for your money if you're not ready for real plants yet. Or if it's just not your thing. One more thing, description says 21 but there's only 20. They're not soft plastic they're just regualar plastic plants.
