The adapter is very small and guess you could put a three pin on it but i didnt think it was worth the bother. But mine came with a two-pin plug and all instructions in another language. The latter didn't really matter, it is just a kettle, but not all customers have the skills to remove a two-pin plug and attach an three -pin, or have a two to three adaptor.
