I connected this to my modem, router and access points. After 24 hours I unplugged the unit and my network remained up and running. No loss to telephone, network or television. I also tried plugging this into a generator and the unit charged as advertised. This is great to have when you lose power and also require a soft shutdown of your network. I would recommend purchasing because of the backup potential and the fact you can successfully connect this to a generator. The fan is a bit noisy but well worth it! Update 10/2019: I just had a power outage and the unit stayed powered about 10 seconds before turning off. Looks like the life of the battery and unit is not more than one year. Not useful at all. Compare the price of this UPS that doesn't work to a less expensive Tripp Lite 1500VA UPS Backup, 940W Line-Interactive AVR, Extended Run Option, Tower, USB (OMNIVS1500XL). Ask yourself if this is worth the value? ### ⭐ Did not demonstrate double conversion quality *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2018* I was having power quality issues in my facility that was causing some issues with our electronics. In order to avoid an endless series of electrician bills to find the source, I chose to purchase a double conversion UPS which fundamentally should eliminate all electrical noise.This unit, unfortunately, did not eliminate the electrical noise as a double conversion unit would. In fact, my father in law brought an oscilloscope to check the source and output of the unit.
