I consistently get two cups from mine. Keep in mind though that your grounds will absorb some of that water (I think how much will depend on your grind) so you won't get the full amount back out. **Q: Is the handle plastic?** A: The handle is a metal arm with a plastic knob on the end. But don't let than turn you off of this grinder.
