It is lightweight and feels like a balm. The color is perfect for me. I wasn’t sure about the shade, cause it looked very dark in the tube. To my another surprise, it is perfect and compliments the natural lip color. Since it is buildable, you are in control of how dark you want it. One layer and it can go as a gloss for no-makeup look, two more and you get a full coverage as an evening makeup. I am in love! As other Clinique products, you can expect a great quality. No smell, no taste, no stickiness, no drying of the lips. Perfect! If you’re on the fence because of the dark shade, keep in mind it works well with your natural lip color and compliments it nicely. I’m fair skinned, with a bit of tan for the reference. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth the hype *by L***N on August 11, 2025* Black honey. This is an absolutely beautiful shade. It’s worth all of the hype. I never really wore lipstick or lipgloss before despite strong efforts to do so, but I am in love with this product. It has a great feel on the lips, the packaging is really convenient and sleek but mostly I love the tint that it adds. Because it isn’t a full coverage lipstick you don’t have to worry about the color getting everywhere so I find it very unintimidating to reapply throughout the day. It doesn’t often pill up like some lipsticks do, ans the shape of the tube is great, not too bulky, makes applying easy. Again, I just fell in love with the color! I felt like it enhanced the color of my lips, so it looks fairly natural, and because of that it wears off very gracefully. I like to buy it on Amazon because I feel like it goes on sale more often than other beauty stores. But I definitely recommend the product. It looks really nice with a gloss also to add that moisture boost. Originally, I just got a couple travel sizes back in October but im already through that tube. So anytime this goes on sale, I’m gonna buy it. If you can get a full tube for $15 or less, it’s definitely worth a try. This packaging is also kind of underrated because it’s great. It fits in the purse well and I don’t have to worry about the top flying off. I feel like it protects the product really well too.
