I’ve had no problem walking on hard or uneven surfaces. I like the boots ! **Q: do these boots keep your feet warm ?** A: I found that mine do. They are rather small fitting, so go up a size to allow room for thick sock. **Q: I bought le chameau city all tracks ladies wellington boots in 2014 but struggling to replace !!!! are these the same/simular?** A: May be similar...? We bought on reputation (fourth pair now). Not the lightest (or heaviest) but boot lasts a good year with care and protection, though heel edges do wear down. Good range of colours; blue; purple; green. **Q: Im a 6.5 - 40 are these true to uk size ?** A: I originally bought my wife a size 6 as that is her usual size but ended up returning them as they were a bit tight with walking socks. Got her the 6.5 instead which was a better fit. First time with this brand so time will tell. Our 3-Stars were for the methods of the supplier who did not dispatch the size 5 as ordered, but sent a 6. Their return system was less than straightforward requiring email confirmation from the supplier which was slow.Meantime our daughter turned up complaining of her own leaking wellies. She was offered a trial of these new ones which did not fit her mother. She IS a size 6 and they were fine. She then bargained with us over the price (irkingly admirable) saying "I would never pay over Β£100 for a pair of welly-boots - I'll give you 60".She won, the supplier won, and we lost. They look beautiful and feel very comfortable. They are a good fit and high leg but if you wanted to wear very thick socks you might need a size bigger. Very good grip. I haven’t used them in bad weather yet but (almost) look forward to winter! One other thing - they might be a tight fit if you have well developed calf muscles as they are shaped.
