Review: High quality DMX-controllable Light Bar - I have many DMX-controllable lights – including similar products like the ADJ Megabars (in various lengths and models). So, I am familiar with this type of product in both form and operation. This fixture is very similar in many ways to those that I already own. Made of metal, takes up very little space (say against a wall or behind a drummer on a stage, etc.) and fully featured with different operational modes and DMX channel settings. And most important, nice bright colorful lighting! I got the 72w version and it lights up a large room. For immediate use right out of the box – with nothing but the power cord connected to supply power, you can operate the light without DMX control by the menu buttons on the back of the unit to designate various settings. This includes operational modes such as: Auto-run, Color-change, Sound-Activation, Color-fade, and Static-Color. Each of these settings is easy to access directly from the back panel. So, connect the power cord, take 10 seconds to choose your setting and let it run (i.e. for a party). It is very easy to do. And within the various main menu setting, there may be sub-settings that let you control the rate of change, or which RGB color you desire, for instance. It also has a Master/slave-mode. This is useful if you want to connect more than one of these fixtures together with a DMX cable. Set one unit as the “Master” and the other to be the “Slave”. Connect one end of the DMX cable to the DMX output of the Master and the other end of the DMX cable to the input of the Slave. When you do this, whatever the “Master” unit does, the “Slave” unit will mimic it 100% in sync. In other words, change the “Master” to be green and the “Slave” will be green. Everything about the fixture worked exactly as expected for me right out of the box. The light is so strong, varying and easy that I plan to set this up behind the drummer on stage and set it to Sound Activation mode so the light responds to what it hears. Great way to provide some movement to the stage without having to control anything – let the drummer’s playing do the controlling via sound activation. See the video I’ve included where I’m hitting a snare drum to change the light. I think this light is wonderful. It is in the same price range as competing products, but it is just as good as any mega-bar style lights I have and I wouldn’t hesitate to use it for professional gigs. I especially like how well it’s made and how much light movement it easily brings to the party or gig. Highly recommended!
Review: Very bright and good colors! - Nice light with metal construction that feels like it could handle the road. I use two of these, as a mobile dj, for my facade. Good auto programs built in to the light, but note there is not a rainbow fade built in (at least that I’ve discovered). That being said, I control mine with dmx on showxpress. It’s easy to program and I find the sweet spot is in 8 channel mode. Thing is very very bright, I have to turn it down sometimes depending on the space. Color mixing and reproduction is pretty good as well, I’m very pleased with how nice it fades! Power cables are a bit short at just under 3 feet, power linking is nicely placed on the other end of the unit. Great value and great product, will be buying more.

Yes, it can.  After starting press menu enter into main-menu, press up and down to select the submenu, then select color,  thus it can show different colors, but it only can show RGB color by manual mode. You can view the instructions for specific operations.

 6DMX mode is mainly about color dimming and auto program. Channel1 0-255 all dimming, channel2 0-255 strobe, channel3 0-255 red 0-100%, channel4 0-255 Green 0-100%, channel5 0-255 Blue 0-100%, channel6 0-255 Auto program.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent light for the money

I had purchased some uplights from the same company and decided to check out this lightbar. It arrived on time in quality packaging, all the items including the brackets were in the box. I spent some time with the unit, testing brightness, color, and functionality; and wanted to share my initial thoughts. I plan to update my review after spending more time with the unit. The light is very well constructed of a lightweight metal housing. Very solid construction, I expect this light to last for a while and endure mobile use. The lenses for the LEDs are also strong and sturdy, quality is top notch. There is no on/off switch, as soon as power is applied the unit is on. No way of accidentally turning the unit off. Colors are bright and vivid, decent color combinations for a light of this price range. There is no remote for this light, nor is there an IR sensor that I could detect. This is the only major flaw that I could find with the unit. If you are using this as an uplight for a wall wash or facade then you will have to manually set the color/mode from the menu buttons. For those using DMX this will not be an issue. The display is ok. Not bad, not great, but ok. Again, this is a value priced lightbar. The angle of the LEDs is fairly narrow. You won't be able to light up an entire wall with just one. But for lighting up a facade it will work nicely. You could probably do a decent sized dance floor with two of them. The sound active mode was ok, I couldn't find a way to adjust the sensitivity. Time will tell if this is an issue. All being said I am happy with the purchase. I will primarily use this to light up my dj facade, or light up trussing on larger events.
