The quality of these is VERY good and the feel/texture is not unlike some thicker lotion-infused paper tissues, so I accidentally threw one away by feel after holding an assortment of snotty kids tissues in my purse. Couldn't figure out where my handkerchief went until I realized what I'd done! His are more linen like and have a rougher feel. These are soft and wash well. I use them frequently and they are quite handy, more so than tissues. They’re not too small, nor too big, and fit well in a pocket or my handbag. They are nice and soft, and comfortable to use on my sensitive skin. I use them for my allergies (sneezing, drippy nose, itchy eyes), when I need to use eye drops, when I need to pat my damp forehead in hot weather, and when I need to wipe off my shirt with water after I’ve spilled or dripped something on myself when eating out (they don’t leave behind paper napkin pieces, especially on darker colors). They are also useful for wrapping small, breakable items inwhile shopping. I’ve washed them many times, even in hot with bleach, and they come out great. I’ve not had any problems with the lace corner fraying, tearing, or becoming unsewn. These would make a nice gift.
