Unfortunately I can't give you a better answer, unless you provide more information; If you have an extra-ordinary battle rope that is made of top secret military weave which manages to weigh as though it were made from led, it would change my answer. **Q: Does this order come with the strap attached to rack and the strap attached to the rope?. Or do i need to order twice to get both straps?.** A: Hi, I purchased the Fitness Battle Rope (which does not come with the strap) however you can order the strap separately or with the kit. I ordered them both separately. The reason I ordered the "strap" was to prevent wear-n-tear on my battle rope. the strap is heavy duty (as is the rope). the strap can be used multiple ways. my preference is to wrap the strap securely around a tree (you can also use a cemented pole (et al) and then slide battle rope thru the two loop (note: one loop would be on one side of the tree and the other loop being on the other side. there is also a heavy duty detachable metal clasp included with the strap that too helps with multi-function. hope this helps!! ENJOY **Q: Can this go around a 2” rope doubled say 5 feet i.e. to shorten the working part of making a 50 foot rope like a 40?** A: You can, but I think it will wear out the rope faster. Why don't you buy the 40 foot rope? **Q: Are these strong enough to use to hang from, attaching hanging nunchucks to them for example?** A: quick and easy answer would be NO ! That is not what these are to be used for.....I work with straps like these every day , but they are all rated and pulled tested so we know what kind of weight we can lift and pull on with each strap. These are not pulled tested or they would have a rating on the strap.
