They are obviously fragile or poorly manufactured. Amazon tells you to contact Kurt Adler manufacturing. Kurt Adler manufacturing wrote back stating Amazon is responsible as they are only the manufacturer. Further they write they are receiving NUMEROUS complaints such as mine. That indicates I am not alone receiving unusable broken items. Only one of the Kurt Adler pieces I ordered arrived well packaged and whole, the rest arrived all broken. Terribly expensive lesson and terribly disappointing.
