I was so up in the air on these and the Progrip 719s for my Suzuki SV650, but because of that V Twin vibration. It is so hard to find a good comparison between the two, people always just say I liked X but they don't say why or they never even tried Y. So I figured dual sport grips would be better since dual sports deal with a lot more vibration and way worse terrain than my bike. I was very happy with my choice, they're just amazing and I was shocked by the difference they made in vibration and just overall comfort. Very spongy, but still solid and thick. Fast forward, sold my SV650 and bought an FZ6 with an inline 4. A lot less vibration, but still there. This time I went with the Progrip 719s and I just hate them. They have that dual kind of material so you have to always make sure your hand is resting on the correct part, and even then it just doesn't really dampen the vibrations or feel comfortable to grip. Plus, they're usually two-tone and the lighter tone gets dirty so fast. Unless you get black black they'll look really bad. Add to that the fact the secondary material you have to rest your palm on/grip is easily destroyed and doesn't seem like it would last longer than a season. Sold them to a friend and bought some 714s again, and they just feel a lot better. Maybe it has to do with them being a little bit wider so your hand isn't forming such a closed grip so its slightly relaxed compared to other? Either way, they're just awesome. Review: Love these grips - Amazing grips. I run these on ALL my machines. Because they are for motorcycles I have to buy 2 sets for an ATV because one is larger for a twist throttle, but they are still well worth the money. The amount of cushion is incredible and cannot be understated. They make all the difference on rough trails. I don’t wear gloves and these have great grip even when wet ## Features - Popular pimple design - Large diameter for maximum comfort - Gel rubber absorbs vibration - Measures 22-25mm inside diameter by 125mm length ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000WO8MKY | | Best Sellers Rank | #189,060 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #315 in Powersports Grips | | Brand | Progrip | | Brand Name | Progrip | | Color | Black | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Adventure Tourer, Dirt Bike, Street Bike | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 665 Reviews | | Item Dimensions L x W | 4.92"L x 0.98"W | | Item Weight | 6.4 ounces | | Manufacturer | Progrip | | Manufacturer Part Number | 714BK | | Material | Rubber | | Material Type | Rubber | | Model Number | 714BK | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 4.92"L x 0.98"W | | Size | 22-25mm x 125mm | | UPC | 763273420332 801766020611 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Vehicle Service Type | Adventure Tourer, Dirt Bike, Street Bike | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Progrip - **Color:** Black - **Material:** Rubber - **Product Dimensions:** 4.92"L x 0.98"W - **Vehicle Service Type:** Adventure Tourer, Dirt Bike, Street Bike ## Images ![714BK Black 125mm Dual Sport Gel Grip - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81T+BsItkTL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really good for street riding, boo to the 719s! *by N***L on March 9, 2016* These grips are amazing for street riding. Easier to grip, and they are soft. ## Frequently Bought Together - Progrip 714BK Black 125mm Dual Sport Gel Grip - Pro Taper Grip Glue Adhesive Compound Bottle 1 OZ - Tusk Heated Grip Kit for ATVs - Black Rubber Heated Grips with Digital Control --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/9092764-714bk-black-125mm-dual-sport-gel-grip](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/9092764-714bk-black-125mm-dual-sport-gel-grip) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
