The carbonblack composites Fiberglass Resin Kit 1Kg is an ISO-grade polyester resin designed for fast, reliable curing with a 20-minute work time. It includes accelerator and catalyst for optimal performance, making it ideal for marine, automotive, aerospace, and general fiberglass reinforced parts. Its low viscosity ensures excellent wet-out on vertical surfaces, delivering clear, professional-quality finishes.

## Description

Polyester resin is the most common type of resin in the marine and automobile industry. It’s perfect for low-cost repairs and new construction parts. Our polyester resin is great on vertical surfaces and also works great for fast glass wet out because of its low viscosity. This resin must be accelerated with Cobalt additive and catalyzed with MEKP (Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide) to properly cure. Our polyester resin is great for a wide variety of applications including, hand layup by brush or roller, spray on applications, marine, transportation, auto body, aerospace, general purpose laminating, FRP parts and more. This resin is compatible with all types of fiberglass and core materials. Because this resin contains a styrene monomer it is not compatible with polystyrene foam. Kit contains: 1kg polyester resin, 50ml accelerator, 50 ml catalyst. A step by step guide is also included

Not worth it at all. Wish it could be returned. Raman fiber is any day better; if not for it not being available, would have never tried.

A: Yes this is the perfect resin to be used for making fiberglass parts. There is a slight smell. We advise to use it in an open, well ventilated space

A: It is clear with a tint of yellow.
