I must admit, in the past I have always used leather belts, and have never considered elastic belts. After trying this belt, my attitude has changed. It is extremely comfortable, fulfills it’s purpose as a belt, but also gives stretch throughout the day as needed. The buckle, and elastic material seem very durable. I highly recommend this belt!Update July 6th: I’ve now worn this belt every day since getting it. You can’t beat the comfort, and though it’s only a week in, I’m impressed there are no signs of wear. The buckle itself is such thin plastic that it bends when I go to insert it.The ineffective part comes from the garbage tension design. There's zero way to secure the portion you pull tight.
