A: Hi there
You will need to drill a half inch hole - it's also good to apply some petroleum jelly around the inside of the grommet for additional sealing.

A: The entire Airlock length is approx. 17cm - it's the chamber section that is approx. 7cm - hope that helps

A: Yes, it will be fine.

**Q: How big a hole do i need to drill to fit grommet**
A: I used 18 mm, it was a bit too big but still worked, but 16 mm would probably be better.
