My player survived Hurricane Irma. Dropped it outside while preparing for the storm. Found it days later in a pile of debris. Took case off, blew it out with compressed air and dried in the sun for a few hours. First one arrived and was dead on arrival - would not start even with charging. Returned without a problem to Amazon and the second one works fine and does take a 64gb memory card. Have put my who CD collection on it and am happily playing my songs with a random shuffle as I take walks.
