I have mine for a year and it is very effective and sturdy-it looks like it will last forever. I had used cafetieres for decades and this is my favorite. **Q: What type of coffee should be used with this as it says not to use supermarket brands.** A: I don’t remember seeing that instruction. I use my favourite ground coffees from a supermarket and they worked fine. **Q: Does this keep tea/coffee warm?** A: Yes if you warm the Cafeterie before make the coffee. I fill it with boiling water and leave it for a few minutes and then make the coffee.
