I used it easily, im 150 pounds, not totally lean, and not hugely muscular. I did it easy. I did It on 12, there's no way id do it as easy if it were really that tensioned up. Waste of money, im going to get a refund. I did it on 12 . This massive guy on youtube couldnt even do an 8. Waste of time, get the other one on amazon that has springs, cuz this one definitely doesn't work. u get more tension trying to do flys with 20 pound dumbbellsEDITso I got another one as an exchange, the original was doable on all settings which wasn't right, this one gets harder and harder and yea, the higher settings are basically impossible for me right now. The only benefit from the first one is the highest setting was usable and was hard in a way where I could manage a rep and really have to push very hard. This one I dont know if there is a setting that perfectly replaces that level of difficulty, it may go from easy almost too easy at the first two levels then harder and by 7 its tough and through 12 very hard, its a more useful range tho, I can work on these levels and move up, where the original was all doable but overall easier, this one gets harder faster. I dont know if any 2 of these will be perfectly the same in terms of pressure difficulty being spread out evenly meaning, level 8 for example would be just as hard as level 8 on another one. BUT, I believe the overall tension is there as advertised, its just gonna maybe be spread slightly differently on different ones. But it IS useable and and EXCELLENT machine to use for true flys. This will work great and there is another version of this type of machine with springs on amazon, I had gotten that one after I received my first version of this one. That one doesn't open as wide as this, this one opens maybe 30 percent wider and thus is more effective, also that other one only has 4 settings and it starts rather hard. It would be less useful, this actually lets you gain strength and build up the right way and extends properly. If you want to work your chest properly, as you may or may not know, the chest is meant to pull to the inside of your body across, not really push forward like a bench press, then this is one of the best ways to properly exercise your chest. No dumbbells that are too heavy and likely harm your shoulders because gravity of pulling your arms down. This willl be tough and you are getting tension as you squeeze in. Pretty good, The only advantage the other one with the springs has, is that is gives some tension as you open up slowly, this does not do that, it only gives tension as you squeeze in, BUT the range and difficulty settings make this a way better product in my opinion. IF you want a great way to do flys, get this, and if for whatever reason it doesn't work right, dont worry, just get a replacement, Its definitely worth it and you will get the results you want. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good way to workout. *by L***N on September 6, 2020* Interesting attempts. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No complaints *by N*** on November 22, 2019* I really like this thing...the price had me skeptical as to what type of quality to expect. So far, I could not be more pleased. The product offers up a very smooth, steady resistance with plenty of resistance to offer, by just twisting the dial. I have been incorporating this into my workouts as a finisher and with supersets. This thing compliments every exercise I have combined it with and really ties in well with chest, back and arm movements. It is hard to mimic this unique type of crushing movement with other training implements.
