**Q: can you add additional race track strips? to make jumps or whatever**
A: Yes, you can do it !!! But, it is too fun already...My son is 2 1/2 years old and play with this every day !!! It is confidential: I love to play this with him...I always buy new cars and always choose the slower car, so he can win the race.

**Q: Item discontinued, So whys this version so much cheaper than other listings on amazon? Is it grey market or does amazon itself have any units on hand?**
A: If this is in regards to the 6 lane raceway, they (Matel) make a bunch every 3 to 5 years and then sell out.  Then 3 to 5 years later come out with it again.  Its the orange one.  Once this item sells out you can easily see prices for $300 to $600 on ebay.  $300 being about the lowest.

A: it will depend on which iyou choose to purchase, if you chose to buy a new item, then yes, it will come as brand new, unused in original manufacturers box.  If you choose to purchase the used option, then, you may not receive a brand new item in original packaging. Not sure which option you are looking to buy, but hope this helps!
