Honestly I didn't care. It was only for a one day event. But I am here to give you the deets....not confuse you.I am 5'3" 234 lbs and a 40DD bra size with 42 inch hips. I usually wear a size XL or 1x in a maxi dress.I ordered and received a XL. After I ordered I panicked a little because I wondered if I should have gone up a size or two....As you can see in the photo the dress is perfect! I got so many compliments and it is very comfy. I will say I had to wear a black bra because the spandex on the top is kinda see thru a little bit. I have bigger arms and calves so I know what it is like to have clothing fit but be outrageously tight at the arms. This however is not the case. I am very happy with my purchase. I took pictures to show the dress Length, arms and also in the sunlight to show you how see through (it is not if you dress it properly).
