Review: Classic frog drum - Really nice looking frog. Substantial size. Makes a pleasant sound. Appears to be hand-carved. The first time I ordered this the striker/drumstick was missing (which is a common complaint in the reviews here), but desertcart kindly sent a replacement. Note: Neither the original or replacement order contained the directions-card shown in product pictures; I didn’t mind as you can just read the directions in the product description, and, really, there’s not much you need to know). And the packaging consists of just a thin and fragile plastic bag; which is probably why my first order was missing the striker drumstick — there was a giant hole in the bag (but the desertcart shipping box was fully sealed, so I have to assume the drumstick fell on the desertcart warehouse floor before being packed). But the product itself is very nice and a good value.

A: Just one frog, that is 4" long.

**Q: 1) Does the varnish smell wear off?  2) How long did it take to arrive from order placement? Thank you!**
A: We are the only authorized seller of this product, but there are many others piggybacking on our listing.  We have never had any issue with a varnish smell, and our shipping is from the USA and most customers order it Amazon fulfilled and it comes in just a few days.  Please beware of ordering from anyone other than us, especially those shipping from Thailand.  We are doing our best to get these frauds off the listing.

**Q: How does the tone/volume compare to the large 6" inch model? is it a higher or lighter pitch? (Is it good to have the assorted sizes for differences?**
A: We offer frog rasps in the following sizes: 2", 4", 6" and the jumbo 8". The sounds do vary based on size. Some customers order a whole family! The tone goes lower and louder the larger the frog. Be sure to order from World Percussion USA, as all the other sellers are just knock offs.

Really nice looking frog. Substantial size. Makes a pleasant sound. Appears to be hand-carved. The first time I ordered this the striker/drumstick was missing (which is a common complaint in the reviews here), but Amazon kindly sent a replacement. Note: Neither the original or replacement order contained the directions-card shown in product pictures; I didn’t mind as you can just read the directions in the product description, and, really, there’s not much you need to know). I remember growing up with various teachers and music teachers in elementary school; a few had sets of these little wooden frog instruments that I always adored. It just popped up on my recommendations page for Amazon, and I was ecstatic since it was also a decent price. It came in the mail swiftly, and I was excited to open it and see it was in perfect shape. I haven't had any issues with it thus far, and it is undoubtedly a favorite play piece for friends and kids coming over to the house. The other night, when I had a group of friends over, they got super excited once they saw it and played with it the entire night we were playing games/drinking. So, for children and adults alike, this is an excellent piece for nostalgia and entertainment for everyone! 10/10 highly recommend getting it.
