I wanted to make refrigerator magnets from tumbled rocks and glass. It's obviously really important, particularly for the glass, that the magnet be strong enough to not only hold up the weight of the rock/glass itself, but also to be useful to hold calendars, papers, apron, potholders, etc. on slick fridge surfaces and not slip and/or fall and break. These are perfect and worked exactly as I had hoped. So many refrigerator magnets are absolutely worthless - can't even hold themselves up, much less any added paper, etc., but these do the job well. The little adhesive dots supplied were a bonus. Had planned to use E6000 adhesive or hot glue (and will, when the dots run out,) but the dots are very secure and low profile, so the magnets turned out very sleek. There worked perfectly - we used the adhesive discs to attach magnets to the railing of our balcony and, when we roll the shade down, attach magnets to the bottom to hold it in place.
