The spring loaded notch is a nice touch to keep the latch lever from spinning all around, and holds it in the latch or non-latch position. The screws are nice for small applications, (1/4 inch long) but may need to be replaced with longer ones in some cases. It’d be nice if they came in sets of 2 or 4, left and right hand versions.
