My first time doing string art. I found that taping the tip of the string helps prevent it from fraying and also makes it easier to tie into a knot when you are finished with the strands. This is a complete craft kit, picture, foam board, pins, embroidery string, and an easel piece for standing when project is complete. It's a little tougher than I thought it would be, but still alot of fun. It takes practice wrapping the string and then holding it in place while you try to tie the loose end.The picture/ pattern that you trace with the string is actually a sticker. You peel off the back. Stick it to the foam board, and place once the pin in the center of each black dot. When starting the string, remember to wrap it around each pin before going to the next.Can't wait to do the other one.
