The inside is just the back part of the soft, but cheap quality, fleece part. It is good looking and my kids love them, but I chose these ones over others because I hoped the minky lining would give it more structure and more durability. I hate too how they purposely try to deceive you into thinking the inside is minky...why else would you just have a band of it at the top?
