I personally think these are incredible jeans, they are not the old kind of Lee jeans. Plus the colors available are incredible. I LOVE the dark wash.We had to get a waist size smaller because of the stretch. These are not button down like 501's. I know 501's now come in zipper also. My husband has not worn 501's for a while, but I remember I liked the look on him! Problem with them is that they aren't like the good old Levi's 501 jeans, they tend to get holes and splits in them pretty quickly. If your okay dropping $40 on a pair of jeans that will last maybe a year wearing them once a week, then these are the best jeans that I can recommend. If you want jeans like I used to like them, rough and tumble that will last you 10 years +, go with the Levi's.
