This works better than expected. It is so quiet we weren't sure it was on at first. The mist is so fine compared to traditional compressor style units. The medication felt like it was delivered deeper in the lungs and more effective. This was purchased for my wife to use at work in an emergency. She is so happy with it that it has become her primary nebulizer. The only regret is that we didn't get one of these years ago. Also even though the built-in battery has been capable of more uses than needed for one asthma attack, we paired it with a portable battery backup device for piece of mind in case of emergency or power outage or for travel. We keep it ready to go in a small backpack with the medications, the backup battery and 2 USB cables. It is worth every penny, in the first week it kept her out of the ER.
