ERICA `KRAMER`S RED` 'Kramer's Red' puts on an astounding show of deep, purplish-red flower color to usher in the spring. The first warm days of late March and April see this selection's stems loaded with buds between deep green, needle-like foliage and starting to flame into color. Bloom lasts for nearly a month on this mounding, spreading plant that loves to be massed in partial sun areas.

- Plant is delivered direct from our nursery in a 2-gallon trade pot. It is fully rooted in the soil and can be planted immediately upon arrival, weather permitting. A: It says it's "Erica" which is a Heath, not Heather.  The binomial is Erica carnea and it's a winter Heath although it's in the same family as Heather.  The binomial of Heather is "Calluna" and they bloom in midsummer through fall.
