American Star also has great customer service. I had a problem with another part (My fault not theirs) and they sent me a replacement right away.These rods are adjustable you just have to take off one side. Not a big deal. Most radius rods are made this way. The reason is if they can adjust without removing on end then what happens when they come loose? They come apart is what, and ruin your day and other parts. I've had this happen in a race. I've seen it happen to others on the trail and in a race. The way these are made it can not happen so a small price to pay for reliability which is why people buy them to begin with.We will be running these at King of the Hammers this year.
