## Overview

The CONFAST 3/8" x 4" Flat Sleeve Anchor is a zinc-plated, carbon steel fastener designed for secure installation in concrete, brick, and block. Featuring a 360-degree expansion mechanism and a flat countersunk head, it delivers consistent holding power and a flush finish. Pre-assembled for quick installation, each anchor requires a 3/8" hole and supports fixture thicknesses up to 2-3/4". Ideal for professional-grade masonry projects demanding durability and precision.

## Description

ApplicationsThe anchor is made from Carbon Steel, and is Zinc Plated. This anchor is designed for use in Concrete, Block, and Brick.EnvironmentThe anchor is designed for use in a Dry environment.Head Style The anchor is a Flat Countersunk head and is designed to prevent the head from protruding above the surface of the item being attached.Hole Diameter/Bit DiameterThe anchor requires a 3/8" hole to be drilled in the base material (Concrete, Block, and Brick). The hole should be drilled with carbide tipped bit that meets ANSI standards and used in a hammer drill.Diameter of Anchor The diameter of the anchor is 3/8".Length Anchor The length of the anchor is 4"Minimum EmbedmentThe minimum anchor embedment into the concrete is 1-1/4". Therefore, the anchor must be installed so that a minimum of 1-1/4" of the anchor is embedded into the concrete.Maximum Fixture ThicknessThe maximum fixture thickness or the maximum thickness of the material being fastened for a anchor is 2-3/4". This will ensure that the minimum embedment of 1-1/4" will be met.Fixture Hole DiameterThe hole in the fixture or material being fastened must be larger than the designated diameter of the anchor. The 3/8" diameter anchor requires the hole in the fixture to be 1/2".Spacing between AnchorsEach anchor must be spaced a minimum distance of 3-3/4" from each other when measured center to center.Edge DistanceIt is very important not to install the anchor any closer than 1-7/8" from an unsupported edge of the concrete.

Review: Misleading description - IMPORTANT: The Phillips head screw is also a sleeve (inner threads). The anchor is a sleeve around a stud that will stick out of your concrete. Given the picture and the description, I thought that the sleeve left in the concrete would be flush and receive a Phillips head screw. But, they appear to be good/high quality. Even though I found a different solution at my local hardware store, I am keeping them for possible future projects rather than return.
Review: They work - Make sure your hole is 3/4 of an inch I had to use percussive force to get them to go into my hole and I bent one the hole was not the correct diameter and length. These are holding up a shelf in a plaster wall over brick.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ They work
*by A***R on October 11, 2021*

### ⭐⭐⭐ Need to know exact depth
*by V***S on March 3, 2022*

I try to use in cinderblock was to small for my project so it either went to deep and did not have enough room to drill into 1x4 or it went to deep an just fell through the cinderblock( short case they were just to small in length for what I needed)
