I didn't expect the same performance as a true mask, but when I tried it on I wasn't sure of getting much if any technical benefit. It wouldn't stay on my face without being uncomfortably tight. Yet the loose lower part let a lot of air bypass the filter, which tended to slip down in the holder pouch. I felt I would need to press the filter to my face to get any real benefit, but that made it hard to breath, worse than other fabric+disposable filter masks I tried.In terms of looks it's fine, not too weird, passable as a light scarf. I think this might be good for a just-in-case, occasional use thing, like something to pull up and hold over your nose for a bit in a train full of sneezy people or something. IMO it's not the best option if you want a filter in place for more than a few minutes. ### ⭐ Ineffective and cumbersome *by K***R on November 14, 2018* I really wanted to like this product - it's hard to find something that looks good and isn't as ugly as a plain medical mask. I'm immunocompromised and wanted something that I could pull up and down discretely as I needed out in public. The fabric was fine, stretchy and light weight. But the filter insert for the mask was sewn so low into the scarf that when I pulled it tight up over my nose (using an elastic rope and plastic cinch), the filter only covered my mouth and chin and not up over my nose. That placement makes this product completely ineffective as a germ filter. Too bad. A little refinement of design by moving the placement of the filter up to the edge of the top seam would have made this a really excellent product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super wearable protection *by R***K on November 29, 2018* Feels soft & well made. Lets me make a good seal but also pull up and down easily. It's not a respirator but wears really well lets me breathe through the filter easily.
