This is not. The handle is sturdy enough to really apply pressure on the floor. There is a crank in the bucket for cleaning the mop before spinning it dry and you have the option of either a foot pedal or the handle for spinning. There is also a handle release at the bottom of the bucket for easy drainage. The mopheads wash up great.
