It looks like you can in the picture but I don't see it in the specs.** A: It comes with a bar that slides under the bench so you can add up to 100 pounds (max) to it. The reason you don't see it in the specs is because the extra weights don't come with it. I purchased 100 pounds from Walmart - two 25 pound plates, four 10 pound plates and two 5 pound plates. No DVD> However, the book is easy to follow. It really is easy to use. **Q: what are the dimensions of this machine when set up? lso, how much clearance room on sides etc to use like in a small bedroom? thank you.** A: Hi... The set up dimensions are about 7ft. long by 14 inches wide. the adjustment post is about 45 inches high. Again this is when it is ready for use and not in the storage configuration. As far as side clearance, allow for extended arms on each side as you have some exercises that require that. I don't know how small the room is so I wish you luck. Its worth it.
