The zipper is a decorative trim only, there’s no attached tabto pull up and close the jacket. I ordered this and two other jackets from the same brand and they are all made from the same material, textured jersey like fabric with a bit of stretch. It has seaming and is fitted, but doesn't have much structure and the sleeves are thin. The color and texture are as shown, and it is well made. I'm 5'6" 140 lbs and a large fits fine, though I could have gotten away with a medium.
