The last thing I needed was to injure my good foot while trying to protect the ankle in the air cast. I called the prosthetic place where I got my air cast to see if they had something to level my good foot. They had no suggestions except maybe I could find some old platform shoes from the 1970's. So I did a search on Google, and it led me here. I spent 2 days researching this product and was convinced that this would work. Boy am I ever glad I did. After getting this, I put it on one of my slippers and immediately knew I made the right decision. I now can walk without a cane if I choose, and the subtle pain if my good foot is gone. It is well worth every penny I spent. I am going to contact the prosthetic place where I got my air cast and suggest that they start stocking these for others who have the same problem as I had. The durability is ok. This is made of flip flop sole material. It lasted the 4 weeks I needed, but is pretty much done. It stays on well. If you are on the upper side of the size, order up.
