I care for my 90 year old Aunt who has mid to late stage Alzheimer's and is completely bed-bound. This is the best product I have found for ease of use, fit and containment of both urine and bowel movements. This product would work well for both males and females and is slightly stretchy on the inside of the leg area aiding in a good fit. The sides of the diaper where the tabs are located are not stretchy and the construction material is a nice thin weight making them cool and prevents excessive sweating. I use A&D ointment in the crease of the leg where the diaper fits and never in 8 months has my Aunt suffer from a rash or sores and I credit that in part to the well constructed product. These are not underwear style, they are an adult diaper with two tabs that are similar to Velcro on each side. These tabs are nice and unlike tape, the closures are prepositional. They do have wetness indicators which consist of two lines in the crotch area that turn blue when wet. It should be noted that heavy urination will case the blue lines to fade. The diapers are well made, I find that they conform better to the body if you unfold the sides to fully open the diaper, give it a shake then fold it in half lengthwise and then in half width wise, them squish the entire diaper several times in your fist. it softens the diaper and it fits better. When fastening the tabs on the diaper slip a couple fingers under the sides of the diaper before facening the tabs. This allows for the diaper tightening around the patients legs if the person wearing then is able to set up in bed. These work well both during the day and overnight. I do put down disposable pads underneath my Aunt, also by Prevail in case she is particularly restless and the diaper moves and leaks. It has saved having to change the whole bed. To give you an idea of size, my Aunt is about 5' 6" and weighs 130lbs. These medium diapers fit perfectly and would be useful for men or women who are both smaller and larger by a good several inches. The product is consistently well made and in 8 months using 4-6 diapers per day only one diaper had a construction defect. Compared to other high quality adult diapers the price is very competitive. Hope this helps, sorry if the review jumped around a bit. It is difficult for me to sit down and spend any time typing. ;). All in all after 8 plus months of daily use of this product I highly recommend Prevail Extended Use Briefs, Medium 32-44 inch and this supplier. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I like the cloth like outer cover and the tabs seam ... *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2015* We use these for night time wear for my 97 year old Mom. We tried many kinds and none of them seemed to last through the night for her without leaking but I add a couple of Booster pads to this diaper and all is well. I like the cloth like outer cover and the tabs seam to work better than any other we've tried. I don't have them popping open like some. If you have to re-adjust the tabs, they stick the second time just as good as they did the first time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Big Improvement! My daughter who has Rett Syndrome had used these briefs for years until they tried to go to an inferior fastener that allowed the brief to fall off unexpectedly. Now it works again, with excellent absorbancy! If they could only make another size, for a larger hip with a tiny waist. My daughter weighs 75 lbs, but must wear a medium (32"-44")sized brief.
