I have a few unopened from last year that have been in my desk.** A: I would open those outside then. No liquids were added. Had to order it and have not regretted it. Have only opened about half of them but has several of each of the colors and I've made one necklace so far and plan on making other jewelry and gifts for people. These are absolutely stunning and I am very pleased with this purchase. Thought it would have a very fishy smell when I opened the first packet but it absolutely did not have a strong odor.
