I bought a Tula for my baby girl before she was born, but she was born at 4 pounds 15 ounces, and even with the insert, Tulas arent recomended for babies under 7 pounds. The majority of slings arent recomended for babies under 6 or 7 pounds either. This was the only sling I could find that specifically said it was ok to use with preemies. She is 2 weeks old and just finally hit the 5 pound mark at her check up yesterday. The sling arrived yesterday morning so I was very excited to put her in it. It is so easy to put on, and baby feels secure. I am recovering from a csection and I also have had neck and back surgery in the past for degenerative disc disease, and I am not in any discomfort while wearing this sling. While it is not the softest material, it's not too rough on her skin and her clothes and a muslin blanket provide a barrier. Its also thin and very breathable which is great in this humid Connecticut summers! And you really cannot beat the price.5 stars! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for the price! *by D***E on March 16, 2018* After reading reviews I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this sling but I’m glad I did. It’s priced way less than any other slings here on amazon which is awesome. I weigh 180lbs and the sling was not at all too short for me to use. My son is currently around 10lbs and it still has extra material after he’s placed inside. It looks exactly as pictured and is decent quality. The only thing I don’t like is that the material is a little rough. After washing it myself it improved quite a bit.
