In the Tzolkin you have 26 Portals on both sides that form its central structure just as in Jin Shin, but in Jin Shin the Tzolkin is replaced by the body. The first book I read, because it was the latest book that appeared on the market, was The art of Jin Shin. Although that book gives you an idea of the depth of Jin Shin and teaches you holds and flows with these points, it is not enough to get a deeper understanding of the 26 points and their relationship with our inner being and consciousness. That understanding you will get by working with this book. Don't look further, this is the book to have on Jin Shin. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars The best *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2012* This is one of the best books on Jin Shin Jyutsu on the market today. It does not cover everything on Jin Shin, which would be difficult to do in one book, but what it does cover it does a good job on. It does not go into the depths but does cover the points and the organ flows. The author does not hold back on giving the complete organ flows as many Jin Shin books do. It also lightly goes over the use of finger holds and trinity flows.Another wonderful addition to the book is 100 pages on different illnesses and how to approach them using Jin Shin. This is something which is lacking even in the official Jin Shin text books.Even though Jin Shin is considered a healing art, it is highly controlled by a corporation in the USA and Canada. What is refreshing about this book is that the author is from Germany and is out of reach of this corporate control. But in order for her to print her book in English and be distributed in the USA and Canada she had to change the name of the book from Jin Shin Jyutsu to Jin Shin Fee. But it is the same art. Many people are starting to print their own books on Jin Shin Jyutsu these days because they studied under Mary but not her son, who is currently running the corporation now that she has passed on. Healers involved in the art want to share their knowledge even though its teachings are being suppressed for corporate profit reasons. So they write books sharing some of the art. The main thing they can not do is keep Jyutsu in with the name Jin Shin Jyutsu. So one can find books which have Jin Shin in the title but which omit the Jyutsu and replace it with another word so they will not get sued. Be that as it may, most these books are true to the art which Mary brought to the states and are well worth investigation.Jin Shin is a great healing art and warrants looking into. The corporate part of the art is not as important because it's bottom line is profits. It is high time that the secretiveness and cultishness of Jin Shin Jyutsu corporation be sidestepped so the art can flourish. This is one great book and step in that direction of sharing this art uncensored. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars The BEST, the EASIEST, and VERY COMPLETE!, *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2014* I have used "The Touch of Healing" for over a decade now, both on myself and on others, but "Jin Shin Fee" is has a good index and is a much improved manual for Jin Shin Jyutsu work (Uh-oh...I used the copyrighted word....shhhhh!!!).While the work which Mary Burmeister brought to the United States rolls on after her passing on, it seems that the business side, complete with lawyers and "thou shalt not's" has, sadly, overtaken her life's work which is now administrated by her son, David Burmeister. There is a point where copyright issues leave off and the sad results of fear or greed take up.Fortunately. his grasp has not extended to Europe, so this book was able to be legally published--and can be distributed here.I highly recommend taking advantage of the wonderful offer to purchase the copy which will work with a Kindle, Galaxy Tab 3, or other such devices, if you have one. I have this on my Kindle, and love being able to roll over in bed and quickly get to the very page I need. It is also easier to pop the Tab3 into my purse when I am out and about, and have the entire book as a reference when assisting another person.If I could, I'd give this book 100 stars because it has taken what you will need to know, dumped what you will not need to know (or even want to bother reading) and has put the info in order with an complete index (which the Kindle and Tab3 have working links within).p.s. "The Touch of Healing" has a minimal and therefore nearly useless index at the back. I took three days to read every word in the book, and make my own index for it. You will never have to go through that with this book!p.s.s. Consider picking up the Jin Shin book for treating all manner of animals (dogs, cats, birds, horses, goats, guinea pigs, etc.)--"Jion Shin Jyutsu for Your Animal Companion" by Adele Leas. Excellent, clear charts and information.
