Till it Explodes *by C***. on October 4, 2018* I loooved my french press. It was easy to use, dependable, always there for me and my coffee needs. Making my coffee with it was my meditation in the morning. All was great and normal until it literally exploded while drying after I washed it.You may be thinking, with the "double glass design [that] holds heat", that pressure could have built between the glass pieces, that I must have washed it with really cold water after it was really hot or somehow vice versa.But no, the glass had been cooling all day. I made coffee in the morning and didn't wash it out till that evening. It was normal/room temp when I washed it. But I did use cold water.This very normal combination--room temperature glass and cold water--should not be the threshold at which a glass product explodes, shatters of glass flying everywhere.Not sure if this was a one-off thing, but it was concerning. I'm just glad I wasn't near it when it did explode.
