So, I went straight to the reviews for the new one, and there were hardly ANY good words spoken about it. Most people said not to waste the money. Based on that, I waited a few years, and just recently checked reviews for the latest model, and it had pretty much all good reviews. So, I have one in use now, and I LOVE IT. It is better than a LAND LINE, and MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE. Even living in the hills with lots of trees, this unit works great. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a house phone without the lines and upkeep of lines, and wants to save money. I purchased a couple of good wireless phones to attach, and I am sure their good quality has a lot to do with the overall good service. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars second time I purchased this item *by G***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 10, 2021* After buying this item for a second time, neither item works, does not receive a signal. Charged up the batteries in each case and took to Cuba, NY near the cell phone tower and neither phone unit received a signal. The indicator was lite up red in both cases. Apparently China doesn't test the junk they make. I wanted this so I would have a home phone. Couldn't contact Straight Talk cause I don't have a working phone and if you try to email Straight Talk, the email won't go through.
