It definitely costs way more than other patio furniture but I estimate it will outlast cheaper varieties by years, thus saving money on repeated replacements of inferior products. The material will survive direct sunlight in summer and I expect to leave it outdoors in winter with the moderate snow we have at the Jersey Shore. I have also ordered one of the matching armless side chairs to use when I practice guitar outside. Assembly is dead solid perfect easy with 1 Allen wrench and 16 round head machine screws. I am 60 years old today but assembled this easily with no assistant. I expect to still be sitting on this bench for the rest of my life or for 20 years, whichever comes first. If the former, I will be sitting on something else. If the latter, I will gladly buy another bench. Spend the extra money. Nobody lives forever. Buy the bench. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2018* We’ve used our bench for THREE years. That’s it. And it’s garbage. The L bracket that holds the seat to the back cracked on BOTH sides and is now unsafe for sitting. What a disappointment. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Expensive, but worth it! *by K***O on Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2020* Expensive, but worth it! This was the fifth bench that we’ve ordered. We use them at a museum, they are very sturdy and they are very comfortable. They hold up well in the elements and do not fade. We’ve had the first two that we purchased for five years and you can’t tell which ones are old versus which ones are new when they all are placed next to each other. We use them as a memorial bench and purchased a plaque to honor some of our donors. We love them! And our guests love them too! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/92485197-highwood-ad-benw1-che-lehigh-garden-bench-5-feet-charleston](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/92485197-highwood-ad-benw1-che-lehigh-garden-bench-5-feet-charleston) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
