It's soft and warm. My color is lighter khaki, honey like,almost like the picture presented on Amazon. There are a lot of loose ends and strings I must fix,but overall the quality is ok for the money paid. There are huge gaps between ,making scarf looks little bit unfinished, but that's giving you possibility to use the scarf for different looks and styles,even a head wrap.Very versatile.Unpleasant smell when I opened the package, but hopefully will disappear. The fur is good quality and is beautiful but somewhat on the short side if you are 5'8 but not a deal breaker because I didn't buy them to be a shawl but a warm luxurious scarf around the neck. I also bought the bobble hat in multi-color lavender,blue and pink mixed in to the black knit hat. it sheds some but lets be realistic people it 's an animal and animals shed their fur just like humans. We supposedly loose anywhere from 50-100 hairs per day.
